Comments
Causes lachrymation and convulsions in inhalation lethal-concentration studies of mice; [RTECS] May cause severe eye irritation; Symptoms reported from inhalation exposure include bradycardia, hypertension, nausea, vomiting, respiratory tract irritation, abrupt variation in sinus rhythm, and short term memory loss; Higher level inhalation exposure has been reported to cause brain cell and limbic system damage; May be absorbed through skin; Oral LD50 (rat) = 195-331 mg/kg; Chronic exposure may cause memory loss, exhibition of rage and anger, and decreased sexual function; [Gelest MSDS] See "Tetraethyl tin."
