Used as a preservative for paints (in can), coatings, textiles (i.e. footwear, apparel, upholstery, and carpet), sails, ropes, fire hose, concrete additives, roofing materials, filter media, polyurethane foam, cellulose products, and cleaning buffers, and as a fungicide for hard non-porous surfaces and garbage cans; [Reference #1]
