Used as contact and systemic insecticide, acaricide, and nematicide to protect ornamentals, fruit trees, vegetables, cucurbits, beet, bananas, pineapples, peanuts, cotton, soya beans, tobacco, potatoes, and other crops; [HSDB] "Used on several vegetables, fruits, and non-food items, oxamyl residues in food and drinking water do not pose risk concerns for the general population."
