Used as a laundry sour, concrete hardener, textile mothproofer, and plaster additive; Also used in glass and ceramic glazes and in chemical waterproofing specialties; [HSDB]

Comments

A skin, eye, nose, and throat irritant; May cause skin ulcers; Inhalation of high concentrations can cause severe pulmonary inflammation; In a suicide case, a 35 year old man drank half a glassful of a 5 to 10% solution of a commercial formulation.
