Brazing

Process Name
Brazing
Description
The joined metals are heated above 430 degrees C (800 F) in brazing and below that temperature in soldering. Exposure to cadmium fume is a significant hazard in brazing operations of low-alloy steels, stainless steels, and nickel alloys. [Burgess, p. 189-90]
