East Indian rosewood is similar to Brazilian rosewood from a different locality. Both woods are used to make cabinets, inlays, musical instruments, and jewelry; the allergens, (S)-4-methoxydalbergion and others, are the same for both. [Kanerva, p. 830] [Gallo R, et al.
