Relatively frequent causes of photoallergic dermatitis (PACD) include: p-aminobenzoic acid (PABA), amyl dimethyl PABA, octyl dimethyl PABA, oxybenzone, and sulisobenzone. Infrequent causes of PACD include: butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane, cinoxate, homosalate, menthyl anthranilate, octyl methoxycinnamate, and octyl salicylate. [Marks, p. 210-23]
