Sources/Uses

Used as a selective contact herbicide for lakes, ponds, and irrigation canals, as a desiccant for potatoes, hops, cotton, clover, and alfalfa, and as a biocide for industrial cooling towers/systems; [Reference #1]

A skin sensitizer and severe dermal irritant; Does not bioaccumulate; No evidence of neurotoxicity or developmental toxicity; [Reference #1] Causes severe irritation or burns to skin and eyes; Inhalation overexposure may cause lung congestion and hemorrhage; Not a sensitizer; [Atofina MSDS] See "Endothall."
