Used in insect repellants in concentrations ranging from 4% to 100%. [EPA]
Comments
Evaluations of case reports of toxicity revealed rare cases of seizures, usually following ingestion, skin applications for several days in a row, or using 95% DEET. A possible link between exposure and seizures may be present in about one in 100 million users. DEET does not bioaccumulate. [EPA]
