Symptoms reported from occupational exposure to tributyltin (TBT) compounds include skin, eye, and respiratory tract irritation, severe dermatitis, and skin and/or eye lesions; "TBT compounds inhibit oxidative phosphorylation and alter mitochondrial structure and function."
