Comments
Phenyl mercaptan causes tearing of the eyes; it is a skin and respiratory irritant. Volunteers tolerate 1.5 ppm for 5 minutes (eye irritation), 8 ppm for 10 seconds (eye irritation), and a single breath of 35 ppm (nasal irritation).
