Outbreaks of Campylobacter enteritis have been associated with the ingestion of unpasteurized milk, undercooked poultry, and contaminated water. Reservoirs include poultry, cattle, puppies, kittens, swine, sheep, rodents, and birds. [CCDM, p. 86]
