Ranitidine caused occupational asthma in a pharmacist packaging the material in a pharmaceutical company. Specific IgE was not done. Broncho-provocation testing was positive. [Reference #1] Ranitidine can cause allergic contact dermatitis. [Kanerva, p. 481]
