Comments
A vitamin K antagonist; The only significant adverse effect observed in 90 day oral rat studies was reduction in prothrombin time; No evidence of developmental toxicity or teratogenicity in rats and rabbits; [HSDB] Biphasic liver elimination which is initially rapid at 2-8 days followed by a slow phase with a 170 day half life; Not irritating to skin and mildly irritating to eyes; No evidence of teratogenicity or mutagenicity; [INCHEM PDS: Bromadiolone - 1996] No information on reproductive or lactation effects; [REPROTOX] See "Warfarin."
