Used as a fungicide (paint, cellulosic textiles, wood, PVC, canvas, and rope), insecticide, drier (varnishes, printing, and paints), ship bottom coating to prevent barnacle growth, and veterinary medication; [HSDB] Used for industrial, commercial, and residential preservation of wood and cellulose based textiles and cordage (textile use limited to industrial non-apparel materials except for government issued military materials); Also used to treat poles already in service; [Reference #1]
