Description
Perform precision work involved in photographic processing such as editing photographic negatives and prints, using photo-mechanical, chemical, or computerized methods. [SOC] Causes of allergic contact dermatitis include metol (black & white developer) and CD-2, CD-3, CD-4 (color developer); other allergens are rubber (gloves), ethylenediamine (developers), formaldehyde (hardeners), and dichromates (cleaners & intensifiers) [Marks, p.343-5] Other potential allergens are thiourea, phenidone, phenols, and amine compounds.
