How Frequently Is Haz-Map Updated?

From 2007-2015, chemicals and diseases were continuously reviewed on an almost daily basis as questions were asked and new chemicals were added and compared to chemicals already in the database. Since 2015, all Haz-Map work has been focused on updating, not adding new chemicals. Information from textbooks is reviewed when new editions are published. Periodically, all journal articles in selected journals are reviewed. The last reviews of journal articles were done in 2008, 2011, 2015, and 2018. The selected journals are: Am J Ind Med, Chest, Int Arch Occup Environ Health, J Occup Environ Hyg, J Occup Environ Med, Occup Environ Med, and Scand J Work Environ Health. (Occup Environ Med was dropped in the 2018 review because copies of articles were not available at the medical library.)
