Comments
PTPB formaldehyde resin allergy is seen in shoemakers and other workers who make leather goods with adhesives. The resin may also be used by dental workers, plywood production workers, box makers, insulation installers, and auto workers who use the resin as a sealant. About one half of patients become sensitized while working at home with woodworking and ceramic adhesives. [Marks, p. 113] The CAS # of 4-tert-Butylphenol is 98-54-4. [ChemFinder]
