Occupational asthma has been reported in 1) electronics workers soldering with colophony flux; 2) workers manufacturing rosin core solder; 3) metal jointers using zinc chloride and ammonium chloride flux; and, 4) electronic assemblers using flux containing 95% polyether alcohol + 5% polypropylene glycol. Asthma also confirmed in a solderer using adipic acid and N-(2-Hydroxyethyl)ethylenediamine; [Malo]
